We have been building Puppets and Costume professionally since 1976, over 32 years. My, how the time flies. We have learned a lot of the "tricks of the trade" and incorporate these secrets into every project we take on. Nothing is left to chance. All aspects are completely thought out, mocked up, perfected and then built for durability.
There is a deep sense of pride in one's work when a project is completed and shipped. Someone asked me if it is difficult to let go of the pieces once they are completed. I had to say yes, as a matter of fact. We put so much of ourselves into the work, that we do feel it when the job ships.
The really great part about it, is when we see the reactions of the audiences to our work. Any feeling of loss is immediately replaced by a feeling of gratitude for the work's impact and the sheer pleasure it brings to people. That moment makes the work, trials and effort, more than worth the time!
Watch the Washington Nationals character zipline and parachute into the stadium!!
